I’m Maple, one of the adorable tree-climbing, acorn-stashing squirrels of Old Main Lawn. If you’ve ever crossed Old Main Lawn, you’ve seen us darting across walkways, perching in trees, and providing small moments of joy between classes. The squirrels of Old Main Lawn are as much a part of campus life as the Spoofer’s Stone and Senior Walk.

We’ve had a rush of new campus squirrels this year, so I guess the word is out that they can get a name of their own. For a gift of $18.71, in honor of the University of Arkansas’s founding year, you can name one of these furry friends and receive a personalized digital certificate to keep or share. Name one, two, or an entire squirrel squad! Each gift supports scholarships, research, or campus priorities that benefit students every day and make a real impact.
